Bibbo believes Federici is best keeper in league

Reading goalkeeping coach Sal Bibbo believes that goalkeeper Adam Federici is the best goalkeeper in the nPower Championship at the moment.

The Championship has been blessed with many great goalkeepers such as Julian Speroni, Lee Camp and Rob Green just to name a few of the most talented goalkeepers outside the Premier League.

The former Royals keeper told the Reading Post: 'We have always felt that Adam is one of if not the best goalkeeper outside of the Premiership. He is our goalkeeper and we would think that about him because we see him everyday and see how dedicated he is.'

The Australian international is one of the longest servants at the club since signing in 2005 and has established himself as a top goalkeeper, gaining interest from many top division sides.

Bibbo added: "Like any player it is starting to be noted and starting to gather a bit of steam. Feds has been very consistent for us for the last two years and its good to see him get some recognition at last."

Adam returned from international duty only on Wednesday but is still sure to be in goal for Reading's visit to Burnley tomorrow.
