Reading youth earn fantastic win

The Reading Youth side beat Middlesbrough 2-1 in the third round of the FA Youth Cup last night at the Riverside, thanks to a brace from striker Dominic Samuel.

Eamonn Dolan's side came from behind to beat the 2004 winners and the team contained some notable names in Jordan Obita and Dominic Samuel, who both regularly appear in the England set up.

Wilson Kneeshaw put Boro ahead in the first half but two goals from England U19 striker Dominic Samuel in the second half gave the Royals youngsters a great victory, with Noel Hunt describing the forward a 'natural finisher'.

Reading manager Brian McDermott attended the game with some die hard Royals supporters, with Paul Black the most notable face due to his known fantastic commitment to the club.

The draw will be made tomorrow afternoon and Vital Reading will bring you details of the draw late on Friday.
