Taylor extends Exeter loan

Young Reading midfielder Jake Taylor has extended his loan stay at League One side Exeter City by a further month.

The 20-year old has made 14 appearances for the Grecians, scoring two goals alongside some fine performances. He is also a Welsh U21 international and is known for his versatility, playing anywhere in midfield or behind the striker.

Taylor told the Western Morning News: 'The main thing is that I'm playing games at the moment and I don't really mind which position I play in. Goals are what every striker wants and I have scored a couple here.'

I know the more games I play the more goals I will score. I just have to make sure I keep working hard for the team. I'm really happy to have renewed my loan deal because I'm enjoying it so much down here.'

Taylor has made one league appearance so far for the Royals, coming on as a substitute at the end of last season against Derby, as well as a few League Cup appearances.
