Youngster joins Barnet on loan

Young Reading midfielder Jordan Obita has joined League Two outfit Barnet on loan for a month, in an attempt for the youth star to get some first team experience under his belt.

The 18-year is old is one of the highest rated youth players in our set-up, that has seem him become a regular for the England U19s. He is yet to make a league appearance for the Royals, despite being named on the bench on occasions.

However, he did witness some cup action at the age of 16 in the Carling Cup two years ago, as he came on as a extra time substitute for Reading. On his personal Twitter account, Obita stated: 'Training was alright at Barnet Today!'

He will link up with other Reading loanee's Michael Hector and Cedric Baseya. Hector has been an ever present for Lawrie Sanchez's side, but Baseya has struggled of recent with injury which has hindered his progress.
