RFC Transfer Summary - January

A summary of all of Reading's transfer dealing, in and out, in this current January transfer window.......

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Jason Roberts - Blackburn - Undisclosed fee - The 34-year was surplus to requirements at Ewood Park so decided to move to the heart of Berkshire on a 18-month deal. He scored on his debut against Bristol City last week.

Karl Sheppard - Shamrock Rovers - Free transfer - The young Irish prospect joined the Royals after having a solid season in Ireland and a good campaign in the Europa League. Made his debut yesterday in a reserve game.

Matthew Connolly - QPR - Loan deal - The 24-year old has joined until the end of the season. With Morrison going out on loan and Khumalo returning to Spurs, McDermott was keen to bring in some defensive cover.

Sean Morrison - Huddersfield - Loan (End of the season)

Alex McCarthy - Ipswich - Loan (End of the season)
