Winger joins Sheffield Wednesday on loan

Reading winger Michail Antonio has joined League One outfit Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the the end of the season.

The 21-year old has joined Gary Megson's side on an emergency loan and will go straight into the squad for Sunday's game against local rivals Sheffield Wednesday, where he is likely to face up against former Royals left-back Marcus Williams at Bramall Lane.

Antonio has made two starts in the league for the Royals this season, with opinion still finely divided by the fans. He has made 33 appearances in total for Reading, scoring the one goal against Burnley in our 4-0 win at Burnley last year.

The former Southampton loanee has already spent time away from the Madejski Stadium this season in League One, at Colchester United. Michail made 15 appearances for the U's, scoring an impressive five goals during his tenure there.
