International call-ups for four players

Four of Reading's first team have been called up for international action, they are as follows......

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Defender Kaspars Gorkss has once again been called up to the Latvia squad, retaining his usual role of captain. They are due to play a friendly game against Kazakhstan in Turkey tonight.

Winger Hal Robson-Kanu has been selected for the Wales squad participating in a memorial match for their late manager Gary Speed. They will play Costa Rica at the Cardiff City stadium tonight and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Striker Simon Church is a regular in the squad but has only recently recovered from an ankle problem, so was not considered for selection.

Midfielder Jem Karacan has been chosen for the Turkey A2 side, which is a 'B' team equivalent. Fellow midfielder Jake Taylor, currently on loan at Exeter City, has been selected for the Welsh U21 side to play Andorra this afternoon.
