'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zingarevich speaks of his plans for Reading

Reading's soon-to-be owner Anton Zingarevich has spoken of his potential plans for the Royals, including how he hopes to expand the stadium if they maintain Premier League status next year.

The 29-year old Russian Billionaire is on the verge of taking over the Premier League club for 25 million. Anton would not have expected to take the club over having already achieved promotion to the Premier League, but has already spoken at how he aims to put his millions into the club to help improve not only the squad but the infrastructure of RFC.

Zingarevich, 29, speaking to the official RFC site said: 'You have the ability to look into the game around the world, and that's the key, football has become so international. That's something we need to work on here, the Championship doesn't allow you to do that fully but the Premiership does. We'll be trying to build.'

'The key is basically to build the infrastructure. It's great as it is, but if you want to go to the next level, the key is to pay attention to your training ground, the Academy. And with the population, the people we have, this ground will become limited in a short space of time, so that's something we'll be looking to achieve.'

Recent questions have been raised after the delay in the takeover, with Sir John Madejski saying previously that it would be completed by the end of March. It has been confirmed that the Premier League are now looking into the takeover from Thames Sports Investments, after Zingarevich's proposed takeover of Everton collapsed eight years ago for financial reasons.
