Royals keeping tabs on Colombian midfielder

Reading are considering offering Valenciennes midfielder Carlos Sanchez a contract, according to the Daily Mail.

The 26-year old, like many other of the reported Royals targets, is out of contract in the summer. The Colombian midfielder is too be available on a free transfer in June and McDermott's scouting team have reportedly been watching him for months.

Sanchez plays in a central midfield role with a more defensive outlook. Other European clubs such as Udinese and Genoa are also keen to snap him up but a move to the Premier League is likely to be in the Colombian's preference. Since joining Valenciennes, Sanchez has made 132 appearances and scored eight goals.
