Vital Reading Player of the Season is....

The Vital Reading player of the season award has gone to Adam Federici.

As voted by you the fans on our poll, the Australian goalkeeper gained the majority of the votes with 31%. Federici kept 19 clean sheets in the Championship this season, the most in the division, as well as playing every minute of the season.

Turkish midfielder Jem Karacan came second with 26% of the vote, while defender Ian Harte finished in third position with 13%. Royals defender Alex Pearce won the official Reading player of the season, with Harte the only Reading player being named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year.
