Reading linked with American international

Reading are interested in Houston Dynamo defender Geoff Cameron, according to talkSPORT.

The 26-year old is being chased by all three promoted sides Southampton, Reading and West Ham, according to MLS expert Joe Prince. He has made 111 appearances for Dynamo and was selected in the MLS All-Star team in 2011 to face Manchester United. Coincidently Cameron made his fourth cap for America this afternoon but scored an own goal in the 5-1 over Scotland.

Cameron is primarily a central defender but is capable of playing anywhere in the middle of the park. The USA international is known for his superb ariel ability standing at 6'3 and composure on the ball at all times, making him an equally capable defensive midfielder.
