Morrison keen on permanent Terriers switch

Reading defender Sean Morrison has admitted that he would 'love' to make a permanent move to Huddersfield Town this summer.

The 21-year old defender has been an ever-present for the Terriers since joining on loan in January, making 19 appearances and helping them achieve play-off success last week. However, Morrison is yet to make a league appearance in a Reading shirt and is bound to be overlooked by Brian McDermott in the upcoming Premier League campaign.

Speaking to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Morrison said: 'I`ve no idea what the future might hold and whether I might come back - that will be down to the chairman here and the chairman at Reading I suppose. I will go back to Reading for pre-season and do the first few weeks there and see what happens.'

The former Swindon defender added: 'To be honest, I don`t expect to break through into Reading`s Premiership team when I haven`t played a Championship league game. I`m not naive enough to believe that will happen. Now Huddersfield are a Championship team I would love to come here, of course I would.'
