Reading linked with Madrid striker

Reading are considering a move for Real Madrid striker Joselu, according to reports.

The Spanish newspaper Marca has claimed that all three promoted sides in Reading, Southampton and West Ham have been watching Joseulu, who has been capped at Spain's U21 level. The 22-year old forward is on the fringes of the Real Madrid first team, but a loan spell away would be in the preference of Jose Mourinho.

Joselu scored his first goal for Madrid in May 2011, before scoring an impressive 22 goals for the Madrid 'B' team this campaign. Talk Sport have said that Los Blancos would consider an offer of around 5 million but a loan move would be the likely move by Joselu's suitors. The German-born forward stands at 6'3 and is known for his composure in front of goal.
