Royals chasing Senegalese frontman

Reading are set to make a bid for Copenhagen striker Dame N'Doye, according to the Daily Mail.

The 27-year old forward has finished the top goalscorer in the Danish Superliga for the past two seasons, amassing 43 goals in total over 66 games. The tabloid newspaper have valued N'Doye at £7 million, reporting that scouts from Reading have been sent to watch the Senegalese international.

Fellow Premier League sides Newcastle, Everton and Southampton are also tracking the former Panathinaikos sriker, who is being touted the 'new' Papas Cissé. Royals boss Brian McDermott is keen to add another striker to his squad in the summer transfer period, with Yakubu another potential target.
