Obita and Pog in for Portugal Tour

New striker Pavel Pogrebnyak and Jordan Obita have both been selected in the Royals' 28-man squad for the pre-season tour of Portugal.



The squad jetted off to the Algarves yesterday and are set to place three friendly fixtures in their eleven-day spell abroad. They will be against CDR Quarteirense, Olhanense and Championship side Sheffield Wednesday. All of Reading's new signings, except Pierce Sweeney, will be involved in the tour, which includes Adrian Mariappa, Chris Gunter and Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak.



Goalkeepers: Adam Federici, Alex McCarthy, Mikkel Andersen, Jonathan Henly



Defenders: Shaun Cummings, Chris Gunter, Adrian Mariappa, Alex Pearce, Kaspars Gorkss, Sean Morrison, Ian Harte, Nicky Shorey



Midfielders: Jem Karacan, Mikele Leigertwood, Danny Guthrie, Jay Tabb, Brynjar Gunnarsson, Jimmy Kebe, Jobi McAnuff, Garath McCleary, Hal Robson-Kanu, Michail Antonio, Jordan Obita



Strikers: Pavel Pogrebnyak, Adam Le Fondre, Jason Roberts, Noel Hunt, Simon Church
