Royals third round Capital One game confirmed

Reading will play fellow Premier League side QPR in the third round of the Capital One cup.

The encounter will take place at Loftus Road, during the week commencing Monday 24th September. Mark Hughes' side went through to the third round after a 3-0 home victory over League One side Walsall, while the Royals beat Championship outfit Peterborough 3-2 at the Madejski Stadium.

Both sides are set to face off in the Premier League at Loftus Road a week after, on Sunday 4th November, kicking off 1.30pm. The last time Reading visited Rangers was back in the 2010/11 campaign, when Brian McDermott's side were well beaten by Neil Warnock's team 3-1.
