Young trialist completes Royals spell

Young Indian trialist Brandon Fernandes has completed his two-week spell with Reading, but no move is likely to be made.

The young talent was given a trial by the Premier League side and reportedly set up two goals in a behind-closed-doors friendly last week. However, the club confirmed yesterday that his trial with the club has expired and is now believed to be having a trial at Leicester City.

Directer of Football Nicky Hammond told the Official Reading FC website: 'Brandon is a fantastic young man and fitted in exceptionally well while he was here. Him training with the group gave us a really good opportunity to assess him, and while we won`t be pursuing things at this stage, we`ll continue to monitor his progress.'
