Young striker makes Pilgrims move

Young striker makes Pilgrims move

Reading youth striker Gozie Ugwu has joined League Two outfit Plymouth Argyle on loan.

The 19-year old has joined John Sheridan's side on a one-month loan deal, but could be extended beyond February. Gozie has already spent time out on loan at League One side Yeovil Town this season, where he made 15 appearances and scored three goals in the process.

The pacey forward, who has come through the Reading academy, was named on the bench in our most recent FA Cup tie with Crawley. Plymouth travel to Southend this weekend, with Gozie likely to make the 18-man squad that travels to Essex.
