Reading FC 4 - 0 Sheffield United

Reading were comfortable winners in their 4-0 victory over Sheffield United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Royals striker Noel Hunt opened the scoring on the six minute mark, firing his header home after a fine cross from the left from Hal Robson-Kanu. Former Blade Mikele Leigertwood doubled the lead five minutes before half time, with his 20-yard left footed strike taking a heavy deflection on the way in.

Into the second period, Hunt added his second of the game, after some good work on the right from McCleary allowed the Irishman to scuff his effort past the despairing keeper. The game was all but settled minutes later as McCleary scored the fourth, after cutting inside in the box and calmly slotting home for a professional Royals performance.
