Reading have loaned out three of their young stars to lower league clubs and Ireland.....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Defender Michael Hector has joined League Two outfit Cheltenham Town on a one-month loan deal, but can be extended if he impresses at Mark Yeates' side. The 20-year old has already had loan spells at Shrewsbury and Aldershot this campaign, making 16 appearances in total and scoring one goal in the process.
Young forward Jordan Obita has joined struggling League One side Oldham Town on a one-month youth deal. Obita scored a brace in the Royals' under 21s 3-0 victory over Newcastle on Tuesday and will now join up with Paul Dickov's side, as they also prepare to face Everton in the fifth round of the FA Cup in two weeks time.
Irish striker Karl Sheppard has rejoined his former side Shamrock Rovers on a loan deal until the start of July, after failing to make an appearance in Reading's first team. The 21-year old signed for the Royals in January last year on a free transfer and had a loan spell at Accrington Stanley at the start of the current campaign.
For Royals players returning, Jake Taylor, Lawson D'Ath and Dominic Samuel have returned from their loan spells at Cheltenham and Colchester United respectively.
