'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zingarevich has no regrets over Reading purchase

Anton Zingarevich has said he is enjoying life as the owner of Reading Football Club, but promises to not make any rash financial moves.

The 29-year old is the youngest owner of a Premier League at this moment in time, but is showing maturity beyond his age. Despite fellow Russian owner Roman Abramovich slashing the cash at Stamford Bridge, Anton has promised the Royals fan that business will continue to be conducted the 'Reading' way, while he is in control of the club.

Speaking to the Reading Post, Anton said: 'I`m blessed with the club I have purchased because all the right things are here already. Reading is everything that is right about football. I want to make sure I am looking after it and adding to it in a good way. You can do many different things in different ways and there are many examples of that.'

'You have the Man City and Chelsea examples, which is good because they have big ambitions, but that is easy. You just splash out cash and at the end you will get there. We want to do it in a sensible way and the Financial Fair Play rules are there and we need to make sure we are doing it in the right way.'
