On-loan Wolves defender has said he hopes Reading's second-half of the season revival could inspire his the Championship side to climb the table.
The 31-year old joined Dean Saunders' side on loan last week until the end of the season, after failing to feature for the Royals since November. Despite this, Gorkss hopes that Reading's routine second-half of the season revival could inspire Wolves to climb the table over the next few months.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, Gorkss said: "As a player, you want to challenge yourself, so maybe I can learn something from this experience as well. I think I`ve been brought in to help with my experience and knowledge and we`ll see what comes out of it. It`s a bit different because Reading didn`t have the best start to the season.'
'But now they`re picking up points, so they`re kind of getting on a roll and becoming more confident with every game. But I`ve only been here for a week and the boys look confident enough. football is crazy these days - one result can change the team completely."
Its a shame that it didn't work out for Kaspars in the Prem. He is too good for the Championship, yet not good enough for top division. Wolves have a fantastic defender in Gorkss, with great experience on an international stage and at this level, who will sure up their leaky defence and lead them up the table.
