'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Former Royals boss back in management?

Brian McDermott hasn't been out of football for long, as he is set to be appointed manager of Leeds United.

The Championship club released a statement today revealing that they are close to appointing a new man at Elland Road, following the exit of Neil Warnock two weeks ago. Leeds were reportedly turned down by their first choice of Roberto Di Matteo, so moved for the former Royals boss, who achieved promotion last year.

It's going to be strange to see Brian managing a different team, but it will make for an interesting game next season. McDermott is set to appear on Fantasy FC on Sky Sports tomorrow at 10pm, where he will talk about his exit from Reading and is likely to talk about his new managerial tenure in Yorkshire.
