Poll: Who should be number one next season?

Poll: Who should be number one next season?

Vital Reading is asking Royals fans who they think should be starting in goal next season under Nigel Adkins.

The Royals boss selected Alex McCarthy against Liverpool, due to an injury to original first choice Adam Federici. However, after one of the best goalkeeping displays of the season in first appearance since November, it has made the jersey well up for grabs.

Who do you reckon should be between the sticks come the start of next season? (Presuming we still have both) Or would you even want to bring another keeper in, with the long-term futures of both possibly not at the club? Vote in our poll in the bottom-right of the page.
