Poll result: Fans not worried about Drenthe's past

Vital Reading asked Royals fans whether they would still sign Drenthe, despite his off the field problems, in this week's weekly poll and here are the results.

Yes - 92%
No - 8%

It is quite clear that the fans are not at all bothered about his previous actions at other clubs. The 26-year old completed his move to the Madejski Stadium yesterday, on a two-year contract, but comes with a bit of previous package.

Drenthe has had reportedly turned up to training late various times at previous clubs and ruined a chance of a permanent move to Everton, after falling out with David Moyes - brave man! He was also videoed drinking beer and racing his Ferrari!

However, it is clear from his time at Everton and the odd sign at Real Madrid, he has talent. Adkins is a great man manager and will hopefully get the best out of him, and if he does, then that could be a huge factor between us getting promotion or not.
