'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Royals drawn away in FA Cup

It's not the prettiest draw for either team, but Reading will take on Brighton in the FA Cup third round.

The game is set to take place on Saturday 4th January at the Amex Stadium, just two months previous when the fixture will take place in the league campaign. The Royals have only played at the Amex once in the league, winning 1-0 in March 2012, thanks to an Ian Harte free kick.

Let's be honest, what a boring draw! It will be interesting to see if Adkins shifts it about in terms of the team selection, but I suppose he does that anyway! A run in the FA Cup has done us wonders in the past, could it have the same effect this time round? I hope so!
