QPR 1 - 3 Reading

Reading secured a superb result on Sunday afternoon, with a 3-1 victory over one of the promotion favourites, QPR, at Loftus Road.

The Royals took a ten minute lead in West London, as a good team move was finished off with a very good header from midfielder Danny Williams. Reading were dominating proceedings until QPR did respond and equalise, with former player Kevin Doyle getting on the scoresheet after poor defending on our part.

Two quick fire goals in the second half gave Reading all three points, with the second coming from an Alex Pearce header and the third a superb piece of individual brilliance from Garath McCleary. Former Rangers defender Kaspars Gorkss saw red with twenty minutes remaining, but Nigel Adkins` side comfortably saw the game out.

Full match report to follow tomorrow morning.
