Reading voted second best away day

The Madejski Stadium has been voted the second best away day in the Championship in a recent survey.

In a poll conducted by the Football Supporters' Federation, it was revealed that Wigan had the best average rating out of 10 with 7.92. We closely followed in second with a rating of 7.54, while Leeds were the bottom of the survey, with a rating of just 4.12 out of 10.

The survey is based on distance, cost of travel and tickets, as well as the timing of the kick off. Our good transport links from London probably make us an easy location to travel to on the train, despite just 32% of fans using train as a method of away day transport.

I would say the best away day experience last season for me was probably Yeovil, considering the nice area and terracing. However, they only received a rating of 6.53 - I suppose the distance to travel for most teams north to us probably put them off somewhat.
