'If It's Football, It's Vital'

New shirt number list released

We have released our squad numbers for the season, with the only first team omission unsurprisingly being Royston Drenthe.

You can read the full list of squad numbers for the 2014/15 season here, on the Official Reading FC website.

The notable changes include Sean Morrison going to number 6 from 15, while Hal Robson-Kanu taking Alfie's number 9 shirt, moving on from number 19. Jem Karacan has moved to number 21, believed to be because of Andrea Pirlo having the same number, Jem's idol.

Danny Guthrie has moved to number 8 from 20, while Jordan Obita now takes up the number 11 shirt, formerly worn by Jobi McAnuff, as it appears he looks to revert back to a winger role. As you can also see, a notable amount of youngsters have recieved squad numbers too.
