Leroy Lita has been nominated for the FA Cup Player of the Round after netting twice against Birmingham in the 4th round.
The ex-England under21 striker has come into great form of recent and has been especially effective in the FA Cup.
Lita has now scored 9 goals in five starts and three featured appearances in England`s most famous cup - a pretty impressive history for the striker.
Lita is rivalled to the spot of Player of the Round by Blackburn`s Matt Derbyshire, Scott Sinclair of Plymouth, Preston`s Dave Nugent and Bristol City`s Jamie McAllister.

If Leroy wins the award he will join previous and future round winners in the Team of the FA Cup and also -should he not be playing in it!- an invitation to the FA Cup final.
Lita would also bag 500quids worth of sports equipment for the local school of his choice.
Steve Coppell lavished praise on Lita proclaiming that :
"Leroy has been on top of his game. You can see he has a real desire at the moment to do well and score goals.
"He`s been very, very sharp. People think he`s been around for a long time but he hasn`t, 18 months ago he was playing two divisions lower. But in that time he has consistently progressed and scored goals.
"That is what he is - a goalscorer. He has an instinct and an eye for goal. He`s not really a link-up player although that aspect of his game has improved almost week by week.
"He knows that is something he has to develop if he is to improve as a player, but I don`t see it as a priority."
Lita`s form will be imperative with a tough FA Cup tie against Man Utd awaiting the Royals in mid-February.
Reading will travel up to Old Trafford on Saturday the 17th to face the Red Devils; the game will be televised live on BBC with kick off being at 17:15.
