Another star pens new deal
Just days after nailing John Swift down to a new deal, the club have followed up by doing the same for fan favourite Liam Moore!
The 24-year old has put pen-to-paper on a new four-year deal, keeping him here until at least 2021. Moore has been an ever-present for Jaap Stam since joining last summer and it was his superb partnership with Paul McShane that was a big driving force in our play-off charge last season.
Moore originally signed a deal last summer until 2020, but it seems the club have awarded him with improved terms and the extra year, as Tevreden and Gourlay are clearly focusing on getting players tied down for longer. Let's just hope there are some new signings to follow soon.
Swifty and Moore - young English players with a huge amount of potential, it's not rocket science to get them tied down for longer. The next on that list surely has to be Jordan Obita, who falls under the same category and his deal is running out in the summer - get it done!
