Team news - Reading vs Fulham

The last time we played at the Madejski it was a nail biting affair against Fulham - nearly three months later we are playing them again in our first home league game.

Skipper Paul McShane is likely to be back in the squad after his return from suspension, while Tiago Ilori is back in the fold after his one-game suspension. Stam will be hopeful on Jordan Obita returning from injury, as Omar Richards was injured on Tuesday night against Gillingham.

Midfeilder Joey van den Berg is still set to miss out, while no update has been given on the status of Roy Beerens' injury. Jon Dadi Bodvarsson will have a late fitness test, while Yann Kermorgant and Garath McCleary won't be ready after operations this summer.

Fulham's injury situation is better, as their only injury is to goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli. Influential midfielder Kevin McDonald missed the Norwich game, but is likely to start tomorrow. Former Royals Lucas Piazon will hope for a start after scoring in the League Cup.

Reading predicted starting XI: Mannone; Gunter, McShane, Moore, Ilori, Blackett; Evans, Kelly, Swift; Barrow, Bodvarsson.

Fulham predicted starting XI: Button; Fredericks, Kalas, Ream, Sessegnon; McDonald, Johansen; Kebano, Cairney, Ayite; Aluko.
