Barrow Looking To Kick On

Having opened his Reading account in the midweek clash against Aston Villa, Mo Barrow has said hopefully it'll be the first goal of many more to come from him at Reading.

Taking the two one victory at the Madejski Stadium with Barrow getting what became the winner, he was speaking to the Official Site following the game, and he was delighted to see us pick up our first win of the Championship campaign.

'It feels unbelievable. First of all I'm very happy for the team, because it was an outstanding performance by the team and the whole group today. I feel like we're improving every game, from the last game against Fulham and especially the cup game where we won 2-0. We're getting better each game.'

Barrow went on to add.

'It was great, the fans were amazing! They supported us throughout the game, the whole squad was outstanding today. The way we played, everybody who came on helped. We are just happy to get the first win.'

With Garath McCleary and Roy Beerens making appearances off the bench in the game, Barrow competition for the attacking spots would only increase as players made their way back to fitness from injury but he knew we'd need everyone across the course of the campaign.

'Right now I feel like we're a team. We'll need everybody in the squad, everybody has to be fit because we play on Saturday and Tuesday so we'll need everyone. It's going to be an exciting season for us all, I think we're all going to get chances to play. I think it's important for the group to get the first win, to get confidence from there. When the season starts, the first win is the most important one. We got that today, so hopefully we can carry on and get more.'
