Stam In Team Of The Week (7/11/17)

Stam In Team Of The Week (7/11/17)

Reading are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Reading in the four two victory over Derby County at the weekend at the iPro Stadium was enough to earn them a place as manager of the side of the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Stam was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Derby County had been on a four-game winning streak prior to their clash with Stam`s Reading, but the Dutchman watched his side superbly end that run at Pride Park.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Stam for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Darren Randolph (Middlesbrough), Zeki Fryers (Barnsley), Yoann Barbet (Brentford), Ben Turner (Burton Albion), Jordan Spence (Ipswich Town), Callum O'Dowda (Bristol City), Jacob Butterfield (Sheffield Wednesday), Ruben Neves (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Gary Madine (Bolton Wanderers), Leon Clarke (Sheffield United), Tyler Walker (Nottingham Forest).

Manager - Jaap Stam (Reading).
