Reading Top The Form Tables

Well, who would have thought it, Reading have the best form in the whole of the Premier League.

Before Saturday the Royals great form was shared with Liverpool both teams having won four and drawn one (incidentally both draws were against Everton).

But while Liverpool were overturned by the Magpies in a 2-1 defeat, Reading romped away with another three points defeating Martin O`Neill`s Aston Villa.

Reading have attained 16points out of 2007, 3 more then Man Utd and Chelsea!

And not only have Reading acquired the most points since 2007, but they have scored the most goals too, 17 - thanks to Leroy Lita and a New Years Day goal fest at home to West Ham.

And with Steve Coppell`s men flying so high can we expect to see the Reading boss winning more managers of the month awards? I think so.

A European place is very much achievable if this form continues and if the performances that Reading have churned out of recent are anything to go by, it will.

Come on URZ!

Reading till i die
i didn't think pompey would be challenging for europe, even less that reding would be our big rivals in the chase!

What a stat!! I agree, Paultsmouth, prior to this season a lot of people thought that Reading and Pompey would be scrapping with one another, but not at the business end of the table! Happy times for the south!
