Team news - Stevenage vs Reading

After what is becoming quite a miserable league campaign, maybe a cup run would prove a healthy distraction. We take a look at teams news for our visit to Stevenage tomorrow.

The injury situation is looking slightly more healthy for Jaap Stam, so is expected to make several changes for this cup tie. The only potential injury concern is that of Callum Harriott, who may not be ready to return after a long-term injury. Joseph Mendes and Jordan Obita remain sidelined for the long-term.

Our League Two opponents Stevenage are enjoying an indifferent season in the fourth tier, but have enjoyed some good home performances of late. Former Royals defender Terence Vancooten could make the squad after a cheekbone injury, while midfielder Harry Beautyman could return.

Predicted Reading XI - 4-3-3: Jaakola; Gunter, Ilori, Blackett, Richards; Evans, Kelly, Clement; McCleary, Bodvarsson, Beerens.
