Halford And Duberry`s Debuts Delayed

Just like British transport, Reading`s reserve match against Tottenham Hotspur was called off last night.

The game was called off due to the venue, Stevenage Borough`s Broadhall Way Stadium, being waterlogged.

This means that the likes of Greg Halford and Michael Duberry will have to wait to play their first games inside of a Reading shirt and that Kevin Doyle will have to put his plans of a comeback on ice - at least for a little while.

But the players won`t have long to wait, the game has been rescheduled to be played tonight at 7PM, the Reading team has not changed so the players will be itching to increase their lead at the top of the reserve league with a victory tonight.

Reading reserves: Federici, Halford, De La Cruz, Sodje, Duberry, Seol, Oster, Gunnarsson, Convey, Kitson, Doyle.

Subs: McCarthy, Cox, Henry, Davies, Bygrave.

that didnt take long to reorganize then, reckon we'll do spurs, we have the best reserve team in the country!
kingsley the lion
thats a good team, does anyone know what kind of line up spurs will have?
the royalist
Of course you have the best reserve team in the country you've got 11 first teamers there. lol.......We won the League last year and probably have the best reserve team as it does not include 1st teamers, our team will be something like this....Alnwick, Ifil, Mills, Lee, Ziegler, Taarabt, O'Hara, Daniels, Yeates, Pekhart, Barcham. Watch out for O'Hara, Taarabt(17), Pekhart(17) there the 3 tipped to make it in our 1st team. Oh yea and I live near Colchester and can tell you have a quality signing in Greg Halford.

That Taarabt is meant to be s**t-hot, he's only on loan though isnt he? Didnt know that Spurswon the league last year - this could be a prett ydecent match! shame its the wrongside of London!

Its true what you say Scott, they could potentially be eleven first teamers but they cant break in because our starting eleven is damn solid!

link - RE: starting XI damn solid, that is true I wondered where the likes of Seol and Convey have been.(Injured I guess?) And yes Taarabt is on loan for 18months but he have an option to buy him if we want. He's already come on as a sub for Lens. Should be a good match, I fancy your lot with that team though.

It's about time the break was in winter not the summer too many games called off.
