Officials - Hull City v Reading (13/1/18)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Hull City and Reading this Saturday.

Hull City host Reading on Saturday January 13 for the game at the KCOM Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Darren England
Assistant Refs: Mark Dwyer and Paul Hodskinson
Fourth Official: Sebastien Stockbridge

Match Day referee England has officiated 23 games in 2017/18, showing 91 yellow cards and two red cards.

He took in 42 games in 2016/17, with a return of 121 yellow cards and nine red cards.

His highest card count that year was seven yellows in the game between Cheltenham Town and Yeovil Town.

He took in 30 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 97 yellow cards and six red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Accrington and Mansfield on August 18 with a total of ten yellows being shown. He also showed eight yellows and one red in the Portsmouth v Barnet match on September 12.

After two years officiating in The National League, which included a 2015 cameo in a Sky Bet League Two fixture, England made the step-up to refereeing in the EFL on a regular basis. In what was just his second season last term, England was the man in the middle for Blackpool's Play-Off Final win over Exeter City at Wembley.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
