Hunt VS Lehmann

Stephen Hunt has lashed out at Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann following the Royals clash with the Gunners at the Emirate on Saturday.

Lehman publicly blasted Hunt after the incident in which Hunt clashed with Chelsea keeper Petr Cech, fracturing the Chelsea no1`s skull.

The first meeting between the two teams in the Premeirship followed soon after and Lehmann was seen to antagonize Hunt then, so it should have come as no surprise that the two would clash again during or following the defeat at the Emirates Stadium.

During the match, Lehmann barged Hunt over, and now Hunty has spoken about the situation between himself and Lehman.

Talking to The Sun he said: 'I didn't need him piping up after the Chelsea game. It had nothing to do with him.

'Not many people like him. He's an angry man - he'd have a fight with his own shadow.'

The pair are due to meet later in the year at international level, when the Republic of Ireland host Germany in Dublin.

'I'll have even more support next time because there will be 80,000 Irish fans.'

Look, it was a good game and Reading gave a very good account of themselves. Most people admire Reading as a fair and attacking team and your players should just do themselves justice and keep playing their football. Hunt is hardly the epitomy of innocence in relation to controversy.

hunt is reading's only little ***** in an otherwise excellent and likeable team. Lehmann, as you say, could fight with his own shadow so the pair of them together is pure dynamite.

Does anyone else see a Celebrity Deathmatch-style faceoff here? Lehmann Vs Hunt would be a good'n!
