At bloody last! We here at Vital Reading pride ourselves on how little we can update our polls. But with our current poll still interested with transfer window topics we shall look to the future a little more…
A clear majority believe Greg Halford to be Reading`s best transfer signing. Halford made Royal history by becoming the most expesive player to sign for Reading. 55% of the vital voting community reckon Halford is best of the bunch of signings despite the ex-Colchester defender-cum-midfielder-cum-striker having yet to have made a first team start for the club.
Danish goalkeeper, Mikkel Andersen picked up the next highest percentage with 20%. Andersen is considered a hot prospect for the future but like Halford has not yet seen any first team action.
Alan Bennett pipped Michael Dubbery to third place and 14% of the vote, and Bennett too is yet to pull on the hoops in a first team match. Meanwhile Michael Duberry struggled in last with 11% of the votes.
Dubbery is the only signing to have made an appearance for Reading, he featured in Reading`s 2-1 defeat to Boro and if the voting is anything to go by did not impress…
Below are the full results:
Greg Halford 55%
Alan Bennett 14%
Michael Duberry 11%
Mikkel Andersen 20%
