'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Seol His Own Critic

Reading forward Seol Ki-hyeon has given a blunt assessment of why he isn't a regular for our Premiership surprise-packet.

At the season`s start, Seol was arguably are best and most consistant performer, giving Premiership defences the run around and waying in with some stunning strikes to boot. However, Seol`s recent performances have been merely a shadow of his early season form, and our summer capture from Wolves is deadly honest in his assessment.

The South-Korean international said, 'The reason I am not included in our team's matches is because I am not good enough. A player that is essential runs in every match. I will work harder to run in more games and not disappoint my fans.'

Seol hopes his inclusion in South-Korea's line-up for this weekend's friendly against Uruguay will help him capture some form.

'If I do a good job for the national team, I believe it will encourage me when I return to Reading. I will run hard to win the match.'

i feel sorry for seol. was one of the best at the beginnign of the season. and after a couple of mediocre performances everyone got on his back! now his confidence is shot to pieces. i really admire him for acknowledging he has to do more but i think he is being too hard on himself, lets hope he can find some form and feel better about himself bcos he is a great player!

poor seol! he has bought shame on his house ;)

Seol was our best player at the beginning of the season, it's a shame he went off the boil when he didn't perform after moving up-front. Hopefully he can re-gain his confidence with South Korea.
Rogue
Seol Ki-Hyeon has been unfortunate with the events of the season, but he's right when he says he needs to try harder for the team and help press the ball. He's got tremendeous talent and there's no hiding he's a top player.
Thomas L'Heureux
Seol should be sorry! I havent seen any talent in him for a while Thomas! Reckon he needs to shape up or ship out, if you ask me he got lazy after a good start to the season and though his place was certain, got a shock when it wasnt- he needs to be more like Hunty a real go-getter!

Seol, i think he can go with Oster and Sodje!!! I'd rather have Ji-Sung Park!
