Reserves: Reading Held by West Ham

Reading had to be content with a 1-1 draw against West Ham in Monday nights reserve match.

A strong Reading side, which included Liam Rosenior, seen for the first time in a Reading shirt, Leroy Lita and Dave Kitson looked like winning thanks to the in form goalscoring James Henry, who opened the scoring in the first half. West Ham snatched a late equaliser through Carton Cole, but maybe a draw was a fair result in the end though.

Former Nantes man Giovanni Sio, the cousin of Emerse Fae, played 60 minutes as he continued his trial with the club.

It was a strong side, not something you often see by many Premiership clubs letting their regulars play as well. But it was extra game time, which will all help. James Henry is in great form for the reserves this season.
