Kevin Doyle scored a stunning goal for the Republic of Ireland on Saturday night in their latest European Championship qualifier in Slovakia.
Doyle, who has had a difficult start to the Premiership season with Reading, picked up the ball on the edge of the area and made himself some room before firing home a stunning goal to give the Irish a 2-1 lead, which they held until injury time when Slovakia cruelly denied them all three points.
Hopefully this goal can get Doyle's season going with Reading, starting next weekend against Sunderland in what is already being billed as a must win match.
