Reading has no fewer than ten internationals on national duty over the weekend, but how did they fair?
Nicky Shorey was not named among the England squad that beat Israel 3-0.
Kevin Doyle scored a stunning goal for the Republic of Ireland but he could not prevent Slovakia snatching a late equaliser in the 2-2 draw. Stephen Hunt and Shane Long were unused substitutes.
Ivar Ingimarsson played the whole of Iceland's 1-1 home draw with Spain, unfortunately Brynjar Gunnarsson had already pulled out with an injury.
Bobby Convey came on for 20 minutes at the end of the USA's 4-2 defeat to Brazil.
Emerse Fae was on duty as the Ivory Coast drew 0-0 with Gabon.
Andre Bikey could not prevent Cameroon suffering a shock 1-0 defeat again Equatorial Guinea.
Ulises De La Cruz was unused as Ecuador beat El Salvador 5-1.
Simon Church was a substitute, but couldn`t get on as Wales lost 1-0 in France at under 21 level.
