Reserves: Reading Beat Colchester

The Reading reserves got back to winning ways on Wednesday afternoon after a 3-0 win over Colchester United.

Two goals from Nam Taehee and another from Alex Pearce gave Reading a convincing win after a defeat to Fulham last time out.

Ibrahima Sonko was able to play a little over an hour as he continues his return from his long-standing injury, and Kalifa Cisse also played almost 75 minutes as he looks to return to full fitness after injury.

Sonko is gradually working his way back to full fitness, maybe he could be in the squad at the weekend?

He won't be rushed back though will he. He has been missed so it will be brilliant to see him back.

Is this weekend too soon?

This weekend, as in tomorrow? It would have to be way too soon, maybe next weekend though.

He's not in the squad, so you are right.
