Coppell gets behind Lita

Leroy Lita might be having a tough time this season in front of goal but he still has the full backing of Steve Coppell.

Lita is finding goals hard to come by, and he missed an absolute sitter against Newcastle but Coppell is happy enough to see him getting the chances, as he knows that if he does he will score, he told readingfc.co.uk, "He had some great chances, particularly in the first half.

"But so long as he's there to miss them I don't mind.

"If he comes off at the end of 90 minutes and he hasn't had a chance then there's a problem.

"He had a couple of good chances and on another day he'll score them."

If Lita keeps getting in the positions to score, he will start taking them soon enough, and when he does he will be hard to stop.

The chances will keep coming, and sooner rather than later they will start to be finish, and when they are teams will know about it.

When he misses a sitter it really is a sitter!!! You have to be in the postions to miss them though so the goals will come.

Yes I know what you mean, I wish he wouldn't miss some of his sitters though. I think it's a concentration thing, he's so good, but his mind can wonder.
