Oster Hopes to Play a Part on Monday

John Oster has struggled with injuries this season, but after coming through the reserve match with Chelsea on Wednesday he will now be hoping to play a part on Monday.

Arsenal come to the Madejski Stadium on Monday, and although he might not necessarily be expecting it, he is hoping that he might play a part, "I trained on Saturday morning with Gibbo (Nigel Gibbs) and the younger lads and then again on Monday, so it's been back to full training this week," Oster told the Evening Post.

"Jon Fearn (head of sports medicine) didn't want me to play on Wednesday, which I can understand, but at the minute the ankle feels fine. I will just crack on and see how it goes.

"I don't know about Arsenal, you'll have to speak to the manager about that one. We have a long week running up to the game so I will get a good bit of training in. Fingers crossed I hope I will be involved against Arsenal."

After playing the full ninety minutes in the reserves 1-0 win over Chelsea he has a chance of at least making the squad, and this match had always been his targeted one.

I'd have him back in the squad really, but don't think he should, or could start though, but he might play a part.

As long as he doesn´t run around like a headless chicken kicking in the heads of goalies, by all means let him play.
Blue is the colour
Now who could you be refering to in this instance I wonder!

Completely forgot you had this guy.
will it ever happen
I like him and think he is a good bloke to have about in the squad. He probably has never reached his full potential though in all honesty.
