Trio Get Second Bite Of The Cherry

Reading trio Alex Pearce, James Henry and Scott Golbourne have seen their loan spell at Bournemouth extended until the new year.

The youngsters will now join fellow Royal, Jem Karacan at Dean Court until January.

Centre-back Pearce and Winger Henry will be with the Cherries until January 3rd, meaning they may well get a chance to shine for the Royals in their FA cup third round tie at Tottenham on 5th January.

Midfielder Karacan will remain with Bournemouth until January 6th, and full-back Golbourne will return to the Madejski Stadium on 12th January.

The Reading boys have made a big impact for the Cherries in their time there, with all four of the them drawing the plaudits.

James Henry in particular has been turning a few heads.

The right winger has scored three goals in six league games at Bournemouth and will be hoping to force his way into the Reading team when he returns to the Madejski Stadium.

With John Oster set to undergo an ankle operation and Glen Little a long term casualty, the Royals are crying out for a right winger and with Henry likely to be part of the squad that travels to Spurs, the game at White Hart Lane could be the perfect opportunity for the rising star to make his mark.
