Coppell To Go For Nwoko

Malta International, attacking midfielder Udo Nwoko, is on the verge of joining Premiership side Reading according to a
report by the Daily mirror.

The Report states 'Nwoko, 23, has agreed to join the Royals after undergoing a medical.

'Steve Coppell is close to agreeing a
£1.25million fee with Portuguese club Leixoes.'

The Royals boss is bracing himself for moves for left back Nicky Shorey and winger
Stephen Hunt, who is wanted by Everton, and Nwoko could be signed to boost
his attacking options.

Nwoko said: 'I hope the deal can be completed as Reading is a sensational
club who would make me very welcome.'

Nwoko, who was born in Nigeria, joined Leixoes from the maltese club Hibernians.

With Coppell being told he has money to spend in January, Nwoko could be the first of several signings, in what could prove to be a very busy transfer window for the Reading boss.

I think he would be a good signing.
cilia46
just watched a clip of him on youtube and he seems to me that he is a winger not forward.
