Hi there, Just wondered if anyone could help me.
I'm gonna be in reading for the festival in 2 weeks and would like to watch our everton game. Is there anything like a sports cafe that shows premier league games in the city centre?
Thanks and good luck for the season.

Hello there mate!

You won't find anything near the festival itself but in terms of a sports cafe around our city centre, we used to have a place called Cafe Du Sport by St Marys church, but I think that's been shut down. Not too sure where else in terms of cafe's rather than pubs (which I can't blame you for) but if you give me a few days, I'll get back to you!

Good luck to yourselves too!

If you're ok with pubs then you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one. The first one that springs to my mind is Hope Tap, which is a Weatherspoon's in Friar Sreet right by Reading station. There is also a pub called Three Guineas right outside Reading station which will show it, but can be a bit on the rough side. If you want a place right by the festival itself there is a Riley's bar in Cremyll Road, but you do have to pay £10 for membership to get in.

Hope this helps and if you need anything else, give me a shout!
